Metos Beaumont at Muddy's

Muddy's is one of those places that you can roll around and get dirty - but actually it is all clean fun.  It's just that you can relax and enjoy some great American music, and who better than a French guy Metos Beaumont to show us how it is done.  Okay, it is not all USA music - he's got some of the Brits in there, and some others as well.  He has a wide variety of music in his collection, so I am teasing the man.  I popped in to catch Metos' his first night at Muddy's.  He's moved recently to the USA, and so he's on my time zone, and I can hear his dj sets now.   It was the middle of the week, but Metos kept everyone happy - and dancin'

and he even threw in some incredible mashups of his own.

Things Hoppin' at the Drow

A-sizeable-crowd brought in the long Easter weekend beginning Thursday at the Drunken Drow. Ande Foggarty amused and impressed with his range of tunes, from his serious renditions of Neil Young to some fun classics. Chip Takacs (vocals) and Truth Wizardly (guitar) took to the stage next with a bit of Clapton ("I Shot the Sherrif"), Seger ("Hollywood Nights"), John Lennon ("Imagine"), Santana ("Black Magic Woman"), and other rockin' tunes past the 11th hour.

Earlier at Kenzie's, Digby Smalls, AcousticEnergy Nitely, and Christopher135 Quan enthralled their fans!

Gavin Zane at Key West

Gavin Zane says, he is happy to be in Second Life. He performed late Saturday evening at Key West to a full house. I especially liked his version of Jack and Diane, a Mellencamp classic. He does a mix of new and pop rock classics. Look for him on the grid, and book him through Sher Salmson, his incredibly sweet and sexy manager. Enjoy the pics!

The Big Apple

Soni took a bite out of the big apple last weekend. I blogged my night in SL New York - all this happened after my Sunday BOSL radio show, lol. The top photo is a crowd shot of the new NYC's club, Shhh!, owned by our very own BOSL Radio DJ Vixie Durant (in the cones). It was Madonna night - and this Saturday is GAGA night. I can't wait. I popped in and about New York and might do the same this weekend.

So anyway, here's the Big Apple story! The rest of the story is in the June issue of The Best of SL Magazine. (Psst, you do know the May issue is out, and it is filled with lots of events coverage). I also attended a cool mixed reality concert at Pop Arts Lab and then a series of events at Celebrate Arts, but that will be in the June issue as well.
