Always Sunny in SL

Over the holidays, during my vacation, I spent a lot of time with my family watching "Always Sunny in Philadelphia..."   It's just a blast to see how that cast can get into such mischief, and in Second Life, daily life is fairly normal comparatively.   So if you love talented musicians, good coversation, and just hanging out and listening to indie tunes, and even learning a bit about those artists and where they are playing next, then Slow Bake, a courtesy of SL Live Radio, which streams us weekly, then turn us on!   Catch Slow Bake live Sundays, noon to 2PM SLT (PST).   As I said, no worries, we are as real as it gets for another world!   And if you want it to be, it can also be - always SUNNY!

Here's the details for your listening pleasure.

Stay tuned for Slow Bake, (most) Sundays noon to 2pm PST/SLT, live streaming from SL Live Radio, in-world at Mad Pea's Mad City!   http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/MadPea%20Mad%20City/114/198/32

Another Show Closer to Halloween

Friday the 13th was non-eventful, the way I like it.   Sunday's show was the regular fare of SL artists from the grid!   Belinda was back to join me at Mad Pea's Mad City!   Slow Bake streams Sundays noon to 2pm SLT from SL Live Radio.   SL is getting ready for Halloween, only a few weeks away, but the ghosts, goblins and ghouls are arising all over the grid - and the SL Live Radio Studios are no exception.

Bel and I decided that we are going to continue our SL tour next week of businesses and public spaces that are tuned to SL Live Radio.  Please feel free to invite us to hang out with you - all you have to do is tune to SL Live Radio, Sundays noon to 2pm - for SLOW BAKE!

Solo Soni! Going Deep in the SL Tracks!

What do you do when it's just you and your music library!  Today, Bel has the day off, so I decided to mix it up with some old SL classics, from your favs from The Follow, SaraMarie Philly, Slimmie, Skye Galaxy, Blair Bond, Strummer, and so forth.   Two hours of the best in SL music.

Slow Bake's cooking up a feast for music lovers, streaming live from SL Live Radio!

Join me - just drop by and chill for the tunes.  Maybe even spin a few records with me at Mad City, home of SL Live Radio's studios.

We leave the studio door unlocked!  Come on in!

SL Musicians - You're The President Day!

SL Singer Agatha Nowles, Sunday, Feb. 19th

Dear Slow Bake Listeners,

In the U.S., Monday is Presidents' Day, the day that honors the leaders of America's past.  I began thinking, to refrain from being political, let's honor the concept of leadership in general, and how it intersects with music  - and then I thought, well leaders SHOULD be inspirational.  Hmm, so what songs inspire us in life?   I'm taking the long way around to develop a theme for today's show!

What SL Musicians inspire us through their message, life and being at the forefront of this other world - a newly emerging world that we have had the honor to experience for more than a decade already?   We have been part of the future, as it is unfolding now.  Everyone is talking about what we have been living - virtual reality - and we have developed communities, and for me it is the virtual music community.

I have learned so much from the musicians of Second Life, their messages and sense of adventure, as well as their generosity with their time to give to a variety of not-for-profit causes.

So today, my friends, we honor the musicians of Second Life, especially those who have led via message and creativity in Second Life to create a wonderful community of conversation and dialogue on significant issues expressed through music.

That's the theme today!   By the way, today's show is a RADIO Only show.   Mad Pea is having a special series of concerts featuring SL Musicians - many of whom I play on SLOW BAKE this Sunday.  http://www.madpeagames.com/events/madpea-international-food-fair/ So I ask that you support them in this good cause, the Mad Pea International Food Fair with proceeds going to Feed A Smile!

Inspiration through Leadership - specifically dedicated to those who inspire through music and message in creative and adventuresome ways!

Here's to creativity!    No votes needed for this show!  They are all presidential!
